उपचुनाव के नतीजों ने समाजवादी पार्टी की दीपावली को और भी ज्यादा 'हैप्पी' कर दिया है। बिना बड़े नेता के जमीन पर उतरे एसपी ने न केवल अपनी सीट बचाई, बल्कि बीजेपी-बीएसपी की भी एक-एक सीट छीन ली। पार्टी सूत्रों का कहना है कि अगर नेतृत्व ने जमीन पर पसीना बहाया होता तो पार्टी के हिस्से में कुछ और सीटें आ सकती थीं। फिलहाल, यूपी उपचुनाव में समाजवादी पार्टी को मिली बढ़त ने उसके आगे की रणनीति साफ कर दी है।
